Eagle River Aesthetics’ Gia Swope has been an expert in tattoo removal for almost 20 years.  She trained in laser technology and then has kept up with newer techniques as treatments are pioneered. Today’s advanced laser technology provides the means to safely remove tattoos safely, quickly and usually with no scarring.

How Does the Treatment Work?

Today, cosmetic medical lasers designed to eradicate tattoos range from a single wavelength of light to a broad spectrum of light, the varieties of which are invented to dissolve the ink in the tattoo without damaging the skin. Certain colors of light are absorbed by specific corresponding colors of the tattoo ink. The light energy vaporizes or fragments the ink particles. Your body then absorbs these ink fragments naturally and the color fades over the next couple of weeks. The treatment is very similar to methods used for years to treat birthmarks.

Possible side effects involve redness, swelling, tenderness, crusting, sunburn sensation, or itching immediately following treatment. Your treatment program will be discussed with your at the time of consultation, If you experience anything different than what is discussed following your treatment, report back to the office for a follow-up visit.

TREATMENT GUARANTEE

 In the field of Medical Aesthetics, it is simply impossible to know ahead of time how an individual’s body will react to a given treatment. After all, part of what makes us all unique and beautiful, are the small differences in how our bodies react to the environment and different stimuli.

So, while we cannot guarantee how effective any treatment will be (and you should be wary of any center that does,) we can guarantee that we will help you overcome any obstacles that might occur during our treatments.

​Eagle River Aesthetics believes that our client’s needs and satisfaction with their services are of the utmost importance. Our team is committed to meeting those needs.

All injection and laser procedures are performed by a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Gia Swope, F.N.P., and Registered Nurse, Heather Jones, R.N. Your safety and results can only be as good as the experience of the hands that deliver the procedures. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

For cancellations and rescheduling, please give us a minimum of 24 hrs notice by calling or texting our office. We appreciate the notice and it allows us to open up the time slot for anyone on the waiting list. We do understand that life can be unpredictable at times so we value your communication in these instances. 

Any appointment that is a no-show or a late cancellation without 24 hrs notice will result in a fee of half the service cost. If you are being charged with a late cancellation or no-show fee, a separate invoice will be sent to you. If the fee has been waived, we will notify you verbally.

All deposits are non refundable. Products may be exchanged if unused for equal or lesser value. Prepaid services are non refundable unless for medical reasons, it may be transferred to another service of equal or lesser value or transferred to another client.

We always want to provide a safe and relaxing environment for all of our guests. We ask that you come to your appointment by yourself aside from special circumstances. This ensures that your appointment will not be interrupted and the practitioner  will be able to provide you with the most amazing experience possible.
